The Catskill Conservation Corps invites volunteers to pick up litter at Colgate Lake area on Saturday June18th from 10am to 3pm. Come out and help us clean up this recreational gem so all Can enjoy! Volunteers will be working with Catskill Conservation Corps (CCC) staff and volunteer leaders to remove litter from the roadside, trail, campsites, and vicinity. When we’re finished, enjoy a swim in Colgate Lake – easily one of the most beautiful lakes in the Catskills!
Volunteers should be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. Dress appropriately for the outdoor conditions and our activities; pack plenty of water and snacks; and bring work gloves if you have them. CCC staff will provide work gloves and safety glasses.
