Touch-Me-Not Trail| Trail Crew Trip|10/8|9:30-5:00

Join The Catskill Conservation Corps, Trail Crew on October 8th, as we perform seasonal maintenance on the Touch-Me-Not Trail. We will make arrangements to stage vehicles Alder Lake , prior to 9:30 when we will meet at the trail head on Beech Hill Rd.

We ask that all volunteers dress appropriately for work on the trail. Sturdy footwear (hiking boots) are strongly recommended. Gloves and safety glasses are required. The crew will have some protective equipment available. However,  to ensure the best fit and performance it is suggested that you bring your own gloves, and glasses. Seasonal trail maintenance requires the use of hand saws, by-pass loppers, and other hand tools. You are welcome to bring your tools if you have some that you are comfortable using, or the Trail Crew will train you on the use of the tools we have.

Join The Catskill Conservation Corps, Trail Crew on October 10th as we perform seasonal maintenance on the trail around Mud Pond. We will meet at Russell Brook parking area off of Morton Hill Rd at 9:30.

The crew will have some protective equipment available. However,  to ensure the best fit and performance it is suggested that you bring your own gloves, and glasses. Join The Catskill Conservation Corps, Trail Crew on September 30th & October 1st, as we perform seasonal maintenance on the Escarpment Trail. We will make arrangements to stage vehicles at Peck Rd, prior to 9:30 when we will meet at the Schutt Rd parking area outside of North South Lake Campground.

We ask that all volunteers dress appropriately for work on the trail. Sturdy footwear (hiking boots) are strongly recommended. Gloves and safety glasses are required. The crew will have some protective equipment available. However,  to ensure the best fit and performance it is suggested that you bring your own gloves, and glasses. Join The Catskill Conservation Corps, Trail Crew on September 2nd & 3rd as we perform seasonal maintenance on a section of the Long Path over Cross Mt & Mt Pleasant. We will make arrangements to stage vehicles at the Lane St trail head, before meeting at the Woodland Valley Campground at 9:30

Join The Catskill Conservation Corps, Trail Crew on June 24th & 25th as we perform seasonal maintenance on the legendary Devil’s Path. We will make arrangements to stage vehicles at Predigger Rd, prior to 9:30 when we will meet at the Spruceton Rd trail head, in Westkill.

Join The Catskill Conservation Corps, Trail Crew on June 3rd & 4th as we perform seasonal maintenance on the legendary Burroughs Range. We will make arrangements to stage vehicles at Woodland Valley Campground, prior to 9:30 when we will meet at the Slide Mountain trail head, on Cty. Rte 47.

Intro to Trail Maintenance Workshop|June 10th & 11th|9:30-5:00

The Catskill Conservation Corps is leading an Intro to Trail Maintenance Workshop on the Phoenicia East Branch Trail. We will meet at Woodland Valley Campground in Phoenicia  at 09:30 on June 10th. The Workshop will review maintenance standards, and procedures for volunteer Trail Maintainers. The workshop is great for new volunteers, or for those who are looking to brush up on their skills, & knowledge of the process.

Tools and protective equipment will be provided. All volunteers should dress appropriately for the weather, and sturdy footwear should be worn. Be sure to pack lunch, snacks, and enough water for the day.

This is a two day event with the opportunity for volunteers to camp. Participants are responsible for their own equipment, food, and water. please note in the registration form if you plan to attend for one, or both days.

Trail Crew Trip|Burroughs Range| June 3rd & 4th| 9:30-5:00

Join the Catskills Trail Crew on June 3rd & 4th,  as we lead a trail maintenance trip on the famed Burroughs Range. The trip will start from the Slide Mountain trail head on County Rte. 47 Arrangements will be made to stage vehicles at Woodland Valley Campground, for the end of the trip.

This is a two day trip to maintain the well used, well loved Burroughs Range trail over Slide, Cornell, & Wittenberg Mtns. Volunteers are responsible for supplying there own equipment, food, and water.  Appropriate clothing and footwear is required. We will provide tools, and protective equipment.
